According to reports, retired NBA star Earvin “Magic” Johnson caught the deadly COVID-19 virus only briefly, but long enough to infect it with HIV.
The virus had caused a global pandemic and most experts anticipated that social distancing measures, which have seen billions of people refined to their homes, to last for months.
But since coming into contact with Johnson, who remains the NBA’s all-time leader in average assists per game having retired after his HIV diagnosis in 1991, doctors have confirmed the virus now has just two weeks to live.
