In a recent interview, NBA legend Michael Jordan has announced that his Air Jordan Brand is palnning to produce and sell condoms. Michael Jordan stated: “so many young kids and adults love collecting and wearing J’s(Jordans). It’s become a “cool” and accepted hobby. We’re going to manufacture condoms in hopes that people will think it’s a very cool thing to use condoms during sexual intercourse, especially if they have the beloved Air Jordan brand, n*ggas better wear that sh*t”.
With unprotected sexual intercourse among underage teens on the rise, teen pregnancy and STI rates have been on the rise as well. There has been repeated attempts to encourage underage teens to use protection during sexual inercourse, but all has failed. Jordan Brand representatives have stated that they believe they have something that will decrease teen pregnancy rates and sexually transmitted infection rates.
Jordan Brand represenatives have confirmed that if idea becomes a reality, every Jordan shoe release will include a pack of 5 Jordan Brand condoms with the design of that shoe it came with, as well as available in stores in different designs including Jordan 11″Concords”, Jordan 8 “Aqua”, Jordan 6 “Carmine”, and more.
